Introduction

We have a fantastic new vacancy for a full-time Chef de Partie. This role reports to the Head Chef and oversees all operations in your assigned section of the kitchen.

​

Job Description 

​

Reporting to the Head Chef, the Chef de Partie will assist our successful kitchen team.

​

Key Duties 

  • Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.

  • Take direction from department managers and to assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards.

  • Follow the talented Head Chefs example of excellence and efficiency.

  • Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times

  • Support your fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.

 

Requirements:

  • Have previous experience working within hotels, restaurants or in a similar role.

  • Have a passion for and genuine interest in food.

  • Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members.

  • Be a team player.

  • Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.

  • Have good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.

 

Salary range of €29,120 to €31,200

                                                                         Junior Sous Chef

Location: Galway, Ireland

Introduction

Previous experience is essential in a high volume operation. Our gastrobar is going through some big changes as we increase our offering to our customers and this is a great time to join our team and be in a position to contribute your own thoughts and style to our revamped offering.

A competitive package will be offered based on experience and flair. We are looking to add to the existing talent in our team as we seek to further improve our offering to our customers. This is an important role for our business and we will value the right candidates highly.

Salary&Benefits:

​

  • Salary  €33,280 to €35,360.

  • Relocation support in the form of - Paid airfare to Ireland and Paid accommodation for two/three weeks as suitable accommodation is sought.

      Working hours 40 per week with no split shifts.
